Breakfast Special Pt. 2 - Very Berry Purple Smoothie

Look at the colour. Just look at it.

You've got to eat in the morning. It's a crucial part of starting your day and -more importantly- surviving the early hours before lunch. So you should at least something. And while we're at it, why not something good? A Smoothie.

I love smoothies. You can prepare them the night before and grab them in the morning when you have to leave. You can have them instead your breakfast or additionally to it. You can sip on them on the go or have a nice long sit at the kitchen table reading, writing, thinking, you name it.

This one is one of my all time favourites and it's as simply made as it is delicious.


It contains:

  • One banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • handful of fresh baby spinach
  • chia seeds
  • 1 tbl sp unsweetened coconut yogurt
additional:
  • orange juice for easy blending

Blend all the ingredients and enjoy! You can never go wrong with this smoothie. It never fails to brighten my morning.
